Maham Sarwar has a masters in Textile Design Innovation from Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. She has been in the field of art and design, as an educator and practitioner, for over 8 years. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, during her formative years, and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, through her late childhood to early adulthood, she brings the perspective of both worlds to her artwork.
Maham Sarwar is an artist and designer. Her abstract expression in painting challenges traditional notions of art and beauty. She creates pieces that are not only visually appealing but also evoke emotion and create a sense of wonder. When it comes to color, composition, and form, they are a reflection of her background in textile design and South-Asian culture.
Maham hopes to share her experiences and perceptions with the world through her journey on the canvas.
